If you want more than just "wedding photos" then go with Ted, every single shot has such true artistry and originality. Everything about Ted's photos is wonderful, we are SO in love with them! He is able to truly capture every aspect of the wedding from the little details to the overall aesthetic. We weren't completely sold on the cost of wedding photography until now, because so many people were telling us that they never look at their wedding photos, but I know I will look at them over and over for the rest of our lives! I got them a week ago and I think I have glanced at them at least five times a day. Ted is incredibly responsive and is able to improvise on the spot with whatever you give him to work with. He is also reasonably priced considering the quality and precision of the photos. I know we don't just have boring photos that will eventually go out of style, we have ART to proudly display on our walls!!! I 100% recommend The MOU Studio to anyone who wants some style and individuality incorporated into their photos.

Neither one of us lived in Calgary, so finding him was like finding a gem. We shared our vision and what we liked and didn't like and he was very accommodating. Our pictures were phenomenal!!! It was going to potentially be cold during our wedding in mid-October, so Ted lovingly reached out to me and told me that I may need to buy a nice white scarf/shawl to wear; how considerate! I would 100% have him take our pictures and would recommend him to everyone! He was also very affordable!

Ted was our photographer for our mini wedding this past July, where we encountered true Calgarian weather from sunny skies to thunderstorms and hail. Ted was absolutely amazing to work with from our initial meet and greet at his studio to receiving our final photos. He didn't forget to check in on us during COVID. He made sure we were ok with the weather we might encounter. He was incredibly professional and passionate throughout the whole process. You could tell how much he truly loved his job every step of the way. He even stood under pouring rain spouts to get the perfect pictures! The final photos we received were phenomenal and way beyond our already high expectations. To top it off we received all our photos in a very timely manner. The overall experience was worth every penny. Ted deserves way more than 5/5 stars and we would definitely recommend him to all our family and friends!

It’s an overwhelming task trying to find a photographer and Ted was by far one of the better decisions my wife and I made while planning our wedding. He’s a very genuine person and it definitely shows in his work. He has a real gift for catching the “moment”. Neither my wife nor I like staged photos or really love taking photos to begin with so Ted was honestly a blessing in disguise. He has a real gift for making people feel comfortable and is really good at giving direction. I would definitely recommend the MOU Studio for any occasion! Ted was warm, professional and easy to work with. We met twice for a consultation, once with just me and once with my fiancé, and he really took the time to hear our vision and answer questions then and throughout the planning process. On the big day, it was fun and low pressure (something much appreciated on the wedding day!). I really like how the pictures turned out. We had an engagement session with Ted in Vancouver, BC and he was awesome! The weather on our scheduled day turned out to be quite gloomy but we managed to get in some amazing shots during the "golden hour" before it started to rain. Ted was great at directing us to pose correctly to get the best shots. We were a little worried about how to pose and with his direction, we looked like naturals! You know, as if we really are in love with each other. Lol! All kidding aside, if you're looking for modern, romantic and beautiful shots, Ted is the guy you're looking for. Ted is an amazing photographer. During our first meeting, one of the most important things he told me was that he was there to make sure I would see my wedding. That as bride and groom, my fiance and I would be so busy with photos, people, and all the activities that we would not be able to take it all in... He was so right! Ted did such an amazing job with both our engagement session and our wedding photos. I was really worried about not being able to open up to the camera, and that our pictures would look awkward. Ted really helped with coaching us to be more comfortable with being photographed. On our wedding day, unfortunately, it rained the whole day and was very wet during our couples session between the ceremony and reception. This is any bride's worse fear, but Ted helped to make the most of it. Our rainy pictures turned out beautiful, Ted has a really admirable work ethic as he braved through the downpour to help us get our shots. He also stayed late when our reception plans ran behind schedule, and he was completely dedicated to capturing all of the important moments. Also as others have mentioned, the pricing for the quality of work is outstanding. Compared to other photographers, excellent value for what you pay for.

We loved working with Ted! Having met him at a friend's wedding last summer (he was sitting at our table), we knew he was friendly and outgoing. Upon contacting him to book him for our wedding, he remembered us right away and was very accommodating in scheduling our initial meeting. He included engagement pictures in his package which was so wonderful, especially since I wanted snowy, wintery photos and the day we did them was one of the coldest we had all winter.
