Wedding FAQs

Q: I would like you to shoot my wedding, how do I start the process?

Reach me via my contact form along with your wedding date and venue, if secured. I can respond by email or phone. If possible, I would like to meet you both in person so you can get to know your future photographer and can ask me everything you need. Once you’ve decided to choose me as your photographer, I will send a contract for you to sign and and return with a retainer fee. After that, you can check “find a photographer” off your wedding to-do list.

Q: How do you best describe your photography style?

My style is described as soft, clean and natural in an editorial manner. I don’t over photoshop and I edit it The Mou Studio style and you will see my signature style as displayed consistently throughout my portfolio. I have spent years tweaking my work to establish this style.

Q: What can we expect from The Mou Studio on our wedding day?

My clients have described me as friendly, easy to work with and calm. If you are not comfortable with taking pictures, I can help you ease into it because taking pictures doesn’t have to be awkward. You can trust me to be there to capture your special moments while you enjoy your special day.

Q: How far in advance should we book?

Typically 6 – 12 months in advance, as soon as you have a date and a venue. If you’re not a plan in advance kind of person, it’s okay just shoot me an e-mail for availability.

Q: Will you be shooting the wedding?

Yes. You are hiring me to shoot your wedding, not another photographer under my name.

Q: Do you have a second photographer?

Yes I have a second photographer who is talented and experienced in wedding photography. Please let me know when contacting me if you would like to have a second photographer on your package.

Q: What kind of equipment do you use? What format do you shoot in?

I shoot with 2 canon 5d mark iii bodies and a combination of canon prime and zoom lenses. I shoot in digital format.

Q: When will I get to see my wedding photos?

Your photos will generally be ready within 4 – 5 weeks following the wedding. I go through a careful process of choosing the best images from the day and processing each of them with individual attention. Sometimes it will take an extra couple weeks if you purchase products depending on how fast they get shipped to me.

Q: Do you offer albums?

Yes I offer 2 types of custom-designed leather and fabric album with a selection of other a la carte products. As well I offer you a chance to pick a selection of photos that you want in the album.
