We met at a coffee shop where James and Sarah relayed to us of their wedding plans in destination: Paris, France and we were immediately inspired and excited to shoot their wedding.
The formals were shot at some of Paris’ famous landmarks: Hôtel de Ville, Trocadéro, Pont Alexandre III just to name a few. It was no small task with many of tourists in the way – snapping photos of the wedding couple, in the background yelling their congrats, and almost getting arrested for shooting at the Trocadéro.
The ceremony and reception took place at The Westin Paris – Vendôme which was located in the very heart of central Paris. It was a very intimate affair with their close friends and family and I felt privileged to be able to capture these important moments in their lives. The ceremony took place in a bright sun room with lots of light and the reception took place in the Aiglon ballroom. The ballroom with its freshly painted ceilings, chandeliers and mirrors was like a room borrowed from Versailles. The florals, decor and cake really added that touch of classic elegance to the wedding.
It was truly a pleasure to witness and capture this most beautiful union of James and Sarah in Paris, one of the most beautiful and romantic city in the world. I am truly blessed.
