Finally I can show you my work from Paris, France. It truly was a dream come true to shoot in Paris. We did two engagement session with James and Sarah, first was a formal shoot at the Chateaux Vaux Le Vicomte. It was quite an adventure that day with James navigating a manual car on the busy streets of Paris. The drive there was just ah-mazing! As we drove into the town, it was so beautiful I felt like I could just shoot everywhere. The chateaux had a very interesting history to it – it was owned by Nicolas Fouquet whom was Louis XIV’s finance minister at the time. When Nicolas invited Louis XIV to an extravagant party at his castle, it sparked Louis XIV’s jealousy. Nicolas later was put into jail by King Louis XIV and all his belongings seized by King Louis. Chateaux Vaux le Vicomte was also the inspiration behind the Palace of Versailles.
Anyways there wasn’t many tourists there so it was amazing to shoot at the castle. Beautiful backdrop with beautiful subjects, what more could I ask for.
With the informal shoot, Sarah wanted to capture the beautiful architecture and culture of Paris in the e-session. She also wanted to re-capture James’ proposal to her in front of the Eiffel tower. I just want to say that it truly was a pleasure to work with James and Sarah. The whole week in Paris was amazing, awe-inspiring and we were introduced to many new experiences because of them. Can’t wait to showcase their romantic beautiful Parisian wedding. Watch for the upcoming post.
